Charing Cross Library is situated in the heart of theatreland in London's West End. It is a busy library serving residents, commuters and the local Chinese community: the building also houses the Chinese Library. There is a music collection with a wide range of CDs and access to the internet is provided free of charge. Chinese language support software is available for use.
 
The library offers an excellent Chinese Library Service for the Chinese community. We have over 50,000 Chinese books, CDs, language courses, newspapers and magazines. The collection covers a wide range of subjects including reference material, popular fiction, graphic novels, community information, health information and children’s storybooks.
