Voluntary Action Westminster
 

Voluntary Action Westminster (VAW) is a Council for Voluntary Service – the place at which voluntary and community organisations speak to each other. It offers a wide range of services and support to voluntary organisations and community groups that work in the London Borough of Westminster. We aim to improve the quality of life for Westminster people by supporting their voluntary and community action.
 
Services and support to voluntary organisations and community groups services offered include: (a) one-to-one support; (b) development, strategy and fundraising support; (c) advice on policy development and community accountancy.
 
Training programme - a full training programme caters specifically for Westminster voluntary organisations and community groups.
 
Westminster Community Network - VAW facilitates the Westminster Community Network; thirteen networks of voluntary organisations and community groups in Westminster.
 
Community Chest - VAW administers the Neighbourhood Renewal Community Chest for Westminster.
 
Community involvement projects - a range of projects aimed at increasing local community involvement.
