Soho Parish School

Soho Parish is a small primary school for girls and boys aged 3-11. It is a Church of England voluntary aided school attached to the churches of St. Anne’s, Soho and St. James’s, Piccadilly. The school has been in existence since 1871, and is still in its original building. It has been closely linked to the Soho community throughout history and still reflects the rich multicultural nature of the area.

The school community consisting of children, parents, teachers, support staff and governors, is a pleasant and happy environment in which children can develop and acquire the lifelong learning skills which form an essential foundation for their future.

Our mission statement: ‘On the basis of our Christian (Anglican) foundation, we seek to meet the needs of all the children in our care. We aim to provide each child with an excellent primary education through careful nurture and the promotion of individual achievement. We work hard to encourage children’s development in the following areas: intellectual; spiritual; emotional; social; cultural; physical; aesthetic and moral.’ Application forms for school places may be obtained from the school office.
